# How do I Change the Default Rental Blocks (15/30/60 min)?

Spotz has a default rental setting to limit renters to rent in 30 minute intervals. You are able to change the setting so that renters can book their times in 15 minute, 30 minute, or 60 minute intervals. 

1. To change the default rental block on a space, begin by visiting the space you would like to change and select Settings.

2. On the Settings page, you will see that Rental Settings, which includes the Default Rental Block, is the first category listed. Click Edit to the right of Rental Settings to change the default Rental Block.

3. Once you have clicked Edit, you will have the opportunity to set up your default rental blocks. Currently, you have the choice to set the blocks at 60 minutes, 30 minutes, and 15 minute intervals. In the near future, you will also have the option of 5 and 10 minute intervals. Choose the interval you would like to set your rental blocks to, and select save when you are finished. **Note: If you have previously created availability availability and make a change to the rental blocks, your availability will change in accordance to your new default rental block settings**

4. Once you have saved your default rental blocks, you can begin scheduling and renting time based on your default rental settings.
